This is the place if you want to learn more about what it means to be a writer, how to get started writing, and how to keep going even when things seem tough.  There are some articles that show you some of what my writing process, and writing life, is like. (The words crazy, chaotic, wonderful, frustrating and sometimes downright amazing come to mind.) I've also included copies of some previously published articles, many of which are interviews with editors involved in publishing books for children.
